Tired of scraping that windshield every morning? Longing for the day when you only have to put on one layer of clothing? Looking forward to the time when you can drive home from work without snapping on the headlights? . . .

Unfortunately we're not clever enough to devise a cure for the winter blues, but here at Blueberry Cove Inn we know of something that makes the hardships of the season easier to bear. It raises the spirits and pleases the palate. The ancient Gods had nectar, but for us humans there is . . .

Whether it's milk, dark or white; whether it's in your waffles or muffins at breakfast, part of our luscious array of evening treats, or just a mint on your pillow, we'll be ready at every turn to help you fight those doldrums.

In two days time sample all 20-28 of our treats like Raspberry Mousse Cake, Coconut-Macadamia Nut Fudge Cake, Orange-Chocolate Torte, Endangered Turtle Pie, Chocolate Cannoli, Caramel Praline Cakes, Cream Puffs and Eclairs, Chocolate Chip Cheesecakes and more home-made delights. Save room for second helpings! We'll even have suggestions for places to visit in the area that offer their own special brand of sweet comfort. . . .

So if your busy schedule won't let you escape reality for long, why not come visit for a few days and let our cozy rooms, hearty breakfasts and chocolate delights take your mind off the hassles of winter. . . .

We offer a late afternoon chocolate snack buffet from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. and follow with an after dinner dessert buffet from 8:30-10:30 p.m. Breakfast items with chocolate will give your day a jump start. All items are home made by your innkeepers with a variety to appeal to almost everyone. Spend your day visiting nearby Newport or Wickford, visiting museums, or following our Chocolate Map to all the local chocolate shops.

Our next scheduled Chocolate Morning, Noon and Night weekends is February 15, 16, and 17, 2008. Room rates range from $125 to $200 per night including all chocolate buffets and breakfast (double occupancy, 2 night stay required, 13% taxes additional).

We can also offer a Chocolate Slumber Party Weekend package to groups renting four or more rooms - perfect for that "Bridesmaid Bash" or "Girls' Get-Away" you've always wanted. Please call for more information (not available July and August, call for pricing.)
